Why Is Midlife a Pivotal Time on Our Journey?
Midlife is a pivotal time when we often question where we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re going. With a wealth of life experience, your priorities and what matters most to you have likely shifted. It’s common to feel stuck, lost, and unsatisfied, yearning for passion and purpose to drive you to new heights. Perhaps you’ve even told yourself it’s too late to change your life and career. Let’s face it, for a significant portion of your life, you’ve likely spent much of your time caring for and living for others. Now it’s time to live for yourself and rediscover who you truly are. It’s never too late to live purposefully and embrace the life you were meant to live.

Allow Me Be to Be Your Compass to a More Meaningful Life

I want to be your compass, guiding you through the uncertainties and challenges of midlife. Together, we’ll navigate the path to self-discovery and purposeful living. My goals are to help you uncover your true potential and create a life that resonates with your deepest values and desires.

I invite you to explore my bio and learn more about the passion and purpose that drive my work.

My Story of How I Discovered My Life's Purpose

I wanted to take a moment to share my story and how I discovered my life’s purpose. It wasn’t a straightforward journey; it took many years and challenges. Some people have easier paths than others, but your journey is uniquely yours. You have the tools you need within yourself. You just need to clear away the clutter and dig deep to discover who you are, what you want, and how to get from point A to point B.

The Importance of Passion, Belief, Trust and Inner Knowing

Throughout my journey to discovering my life’s purpose, I’ve learned that passion, belief, and trust are essential in everything you do. Without these elements, achieving your goals becomes nearly impossible. Passion ignites commitment, focus, and direction. Trust, both in yourself and in a divine plan and purpose for your life, is equally important. It allows you to take risks and move forward with confidence, knowing that there is a greater purpose guiding you. In coaching, you learn to harness this passion, build self-belief, and develop trust. With belief, trust, and determination, anything is possible. Consider individuals with physical challenges—they exemplify these principles beautifully. They set goals, remain determined, and believe in their ability to succeed, achieving miraculous things in their lives.

From an early age, I knew I wanted to do something creative. I wanted to communicate, be an artist, a graphic designer, and I also studied singing, which is another form of communication. I come from a family of musicians and artists on my mom’s side, so creativity is in my blood. Everyone has God-given talents to help them on their journey.

The Value of Experiences

Your experiences shape your journey, and nothing is wasted time. Every experience, whether good or bad, happens for a reason and helps define who you are and where you need to go. From kindergarten, I knew I wanted to be creative. I also had questions about my spirituality and my Roman Catholic upbringing. It wasn’t until I met and dated a man who viewed life differently that I began to see things in a new light. This person, an artist, was a free spirit and very in tune with nature. He taught me not to take life too seriously, to listen to my soul, and to live in the present. He also helped me explore my own creativity, which was incredibly freeing. He showed me a different perspective on life. Our breakup was hard, but it led me to a period of self-discovery through self-help programs, New Age philosophies, meditation, and learning about myself.

Twists, Turns and Realizations Along My Journey

Ever since I was a little girl, I had supernatural and empathic experiences, but I did not fully understand them. I had a strong sixth sense and was sensitive to energy. I had premonition dreams and communication from loved ones and friends who had passed. As I got older, I learned more about tapping into my intuitive gifts, visualization, and manifestation, similar to what you hear about in “The Secret.” There’s much more to the Law of Attraction than what that book covers. As I continued to learn, everything began to make sense, and the big picture became clear.

I pursued a career in design and communication, but it wasn’t easy. I didn’t have a mentor, and my dad wanted me to get a well-rounded education instead of going to art school. I started as a journalism major but soon realized I needed to be in the creative field. I studied art, music, communications, and marketing, often through independent studies because my school didn’t offer graphic design.

After graduation, I didn’t find the perfect job waiting for me. I worked as a mortgage auditor and later as a staff auditor for a bank. These left-brain jobs didn’t fulfill my right-brain creativity, but they paid the bills. Eventually, I transitioned into marketing, building on each experience to become a graphic designer and marketer with management responsibilities.

Inspired by my father, I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. I had several short-lived, part-time businesses and maintained a creative and marketing business on the side while working a corporate job. However, at that time, I felt I lacked passion and belief in myself, which are essential for success. Through journaling about my dreams and goals, I realized that my inner self was guiding me toward entrepreneurship.

Taking a Leap of Faith and Answering an Inner Calling

After six years in my last corporate position, I was laid off due to an economic recession. At the same time, my husband wanted to relocate to a rural area 100 miles away from family and friends. This was a challenging time, and I was totally out of my comfort zone, but it pushed me to reflect on my life and dreams. So, I took a risk and launched my own creative, marketing and branding agency, JumpSpark Creative Group, LLC. Listening to my inner voice, I finally created a life on my terms. Almost two decades later, I still run this successful business. However, when I launched JumpSpark Creative, I realized something was still missing. While I was living my dream of being a designer and marketer, I knew I wanted to help people and truly make a difference in their lives. Looking back at my old journals, I realized that this was a recurring theme.

Soon, the Universe began answering my inner calling. While on social media, I came across an ad for a free webinar by a creativity coach named Christine Kane. I began to follow her and had studied programs from Tony Robbins in the past, but their teachings resonated with me much more at this point in my life. As I delved deeper into coaching, I realized I was ready to commit to it. It’s funny how life sometimes nudges you in a certain direction, and it’s so persistent that you must listen. The clues were loud and clear, and I was genuinely interested in what Christine had to say. I admired her work and aspired to help people, travel, give seminars, and mentor others to find their purpose. I wished someone had been there to make my journey a bit easier, but I went through the hard times for a reason. Without those experiences, I wouldn’t have chosen to be a coach.

Around that same time, I was introduced to other coaches and did a lot of research. I received an email from my alma mater, which I never expected to offer a coaching certification course, but they did. It felt like a sign. Then, I got a call from a woman who needed coaching—it was actually a wrong number, but she was selling cosmetics and wanted to grow her business. I identified with her pain and ended up coaching her. It was an ironic but meaningful experience.

Not too long after that, we lost my aunt to cancer. She was an angel on Earth, touching many lives in her short time here. She always told me I could do whatever I wanted in life and to do what made me happy. Her words and her passing inspired me to pursue my dream and find my life’s purpose. I decided to find a good coaching certification course and went to coaching school. After getting my first of four coaching certifications, I incorporated coaching into my creative and marketing business, offering people a choice in how they want to achieve their goals and create the life and business they desire.

A New Focus

Fast forward to today, that inner calling for which I had spent decades preparing has come full circle.

In 2022, I officially graduated from the School of Life Purpose Preparation and was intuitively guided to live my purpose full-time. That year, my best friend transitioned to Heaven unexpectedly and opened the door to my conscious channeling abilities and reading for others. Later that year, I had the privilege of helping my brother publish and market a book centered on themes of spirituality, love, and loss. This project brought my work into the spotlight, attracting the attention of other authors. During meditation, I received a divine message to shift the focus of my creative and branding business toward assisting lightworker authors in sharing their spiritual content with the world. Today, JumpSpark Creative Group, LLC. is dedicated to helping lightworker authors publish and market their content, making a meaningful impact on the world. And two years later, I was guided to transition my part-time life purpose coaching into a full-time endeavor.

Long story short, it’s funny how life works. The answers and signs are all around us; it’s just a matter of tuning in, letting go of limiting beliefs and fears, and listening to ourselves rather than others. It’s about communicating with your own soul and feeling what you know to be your truth and inner calling as well as knowing yourself, what you want in life, and where you want to go.

We all have the answers within us. We are equipped with everything we need to create and live a happy, joyful, and soul-fulfilled life. Sometimes, we just need someone to teach us how to dig deeper by asking the right questions and trusting our inner guidance. We may need someone to help us find clarity, focus, motivation, and a way to overcome our fears and limiting beliefs. Coaching can help you do that, and it’s incredibly empowering when you’re ready to take that next step and create results in your life.

I invite you to tell me your story during my complimentary Discovery Coaching Session.
